Many musicians remember a certain song or lyric that has helped them along their journey and had an impact on their life, leading them to where they are today. Musicians remember and know what it’s like to be a fan – that feeling of how much a band, song, and lyric can mean to us.

    McCready’s Fan Portrait was taken at his Flight to Mars annual benefit shows; Showbox, Seattle, May 1st, 2015.
  • Corin Tucker, singer and guitarist for Sleater-Kinney
    Tucker’s Fan Portrait was taken at Sleater-Kinney’s 3 night run at the end of their 2015 tour supporting their latest and first album in 9 years (No Cities to Love); Showbox, Seattle, May 8th, 2015.
  • Damien Echols, author (Yours for Eternity: A Love Story on Death Row; Life After Death), co-writer with Eddie Vedder on the Pearl Jam track Army Reserve; wrongly convicted in the West Memphis Three case

  • Tom Blankenship, bassist for My Morning Jacket
    Blankenship’s Fan Portrait was taken before the band’s show at Tower Threatre, Upper Darby, PA, November 19th, 2015. Blankenship supports Fan Portraits and think it’s a beautiful way of connecting the My Morning Jacket fans and One Big Family.
  • Fred Armisen, actor and musician
    Armisen’s Fan Portrait was taken before Sleater-Kinney’s 5th show of a 5 night run in NYC, Market Hotel, Brooklyn, NY, December 16th, 2015. Armisen performed The B-52’s song Rock Lobster with Sleater-Kinney at these shows. Sleater-Kinney is his favorite band and his favorite album is The Hot Rock. He co-stars with Carrie Brownstein (singer and guitarist for Sleater-Kinney) in the TV show Portlandia.
